The combination of the avocado and multigrain bread will keep your blood sugar stable, and boost your metabolism. I recommend to use a locally made organic bread made with ancient grains such as kamut, millet, and quinoa.
- 1 slice ancient grain or multigrain bread
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- crushed red chillies
- pomegranate seeds
- With a fork, mash the avocado with lemon juice, salt, and pepper
- Toast your bread to your liking
- Spread the avocado mixture onto your toast
- Top with crushed red chillies and pomegranate seeds (optional)
