Enjoy delicious Air Fryer Sweet Potato fries right at home in just 20 minutes!
Ingredients

- 2 sweet potatoes (approx 650 g)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp ground pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp Italian herbs
- 1 tsp lemon zest (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 380F/195C.
- Slice the sweet potatoes into 1/2 inch thick wedges. (You can leave the skin on, or remove it if you prefer.)
- Add the sweet potatoes to a large mixing bowl with the olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika and Italian herbs and toss together.
- Arrange the sweet potato wedges in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each wedge. (Depending on the size of your air fryer you may need to cook the fries in 2-3 batches.)
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, then flip and cook an additional 3-5 minutes until golden brown.
- Optionally sprinkle with a little lemon zest and serve.
Notes
- Cut evenly – Keeps cooking time consistent.
- Don’t overcrowd – Cook in batches for crispy results.
- Flip the wedges halfway through – Helps wedges cook evenly.
- Adjust cook time– If needed, adjust cook time until the wedges are tender.
- Serve fresh – Best enjoyed hot and crispy straight from the air fryer.
