Hey there! Welcome to Choosing Chia! I’m Jess. I’m the writer, photographer and recipe developer behind Choosing Chia!
I’ve always loved cooking since a young age and grew up in a family where cooking and baking was always going on!
I started Choosing Chia after a spontaneous trip to India where I studied yoga and the Ayurveda. (A wellness practice that focuses on creating a healthy body through diet, exercise and mindfulness) I graduated from the Ajarya yoga academy with my yoga instructor certification, and a new passion for healthy, plant-based cooking and eating.
Choosing Chia reflects my beliefs on eating and a healthy Lifestyle-Delicious, easy to make vegetarian recipes that focus on fresh ingredients.
I serve people who are looking to eat healthier, incorporate more natural and plant-based foods in their diet, but who also want to take the stress out of healthy eating.
What you’ll find on Choosing Chia
Choosing Chia is a blog dedicated to really delicious vegetarian recipes. Here you will find plenty of whole food recipes with a big focus on wholesome plant-based ingredients. That being said, life is all about balance. So you’ll also find some healthified and not so healthified desserts and treats on the blog too!
Healthy, simple and vibrant recipes
Life can be busy, (don’t we all know it!) so I wanted to make sure that Choosing Chia focuses on primarily simple, easy to put together, healthy recipes that you can add to your weekly menu.
