Description

Buffalo Hummus is the perfect easy dip for a healthy appetizer!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 15 oz can chickpeas
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 1 garlic clove, skin removed
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup Frank’s Red Hot Sauce
  • 1/2 cup cold water

Instructions

  1. Drain and rinse the can of chickpeas and remove the skins by gently rolling the chickpeas in a clean kitchen towel. The skins will naturally come off. Discard the skins from the chickpeas.
  2. Add the chickpeas, tahini, garlic, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, olive oil and Frank’s Red Hot Sauce to a food processor and blend for 1-2 minutes, scraping down the sides as needed.
  3. With the food processor running, slowly add the water and let everything blend for another 2-3 minutes until smooth and creamy.
  4. Serve with crackers, pita chips cut-up veggies or whatever you like!
