Chickpeas: Dried vs. Canned
For the best texture and flavour, canned chickpeas are the way to go in this recipe. They’re convenient, require no soaking, and blend into a perfectly smooth hummus.
I use organic unsalted canned chickpeas for this hummus.
If you prefer to use dried chickpeas or that’s just what you have on hand, you can 100% still use them. Just make sure to soak them overnight, then boil them in water until soft and tender. (It’s important to use chickpeas that are nice and soft in this recipe to get a creamy hummus!)
