Description

Easy to make sweet and sour meatballs that are 100% plant-based!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
  • 3 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tspย sriracha
  • 2 tspย sesame oil
  • 3 packs of Lightlife veggie meatballs
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • sesame seeds & cilantro to top

Instructions

  1. Mix the garlic, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, soy sauce, sriracha and sesame oil together in a small bowl.
  2. Pour the mixture into a pan on medium-high heat, until it begins to bubble.
  3. Add the veggie meatballs and lower the heat to medium, letting cook for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  4. Remove from heat and top with green onions, sesame seeds and cilantro

Notes

Add a toothpick in each meatball so they are easy to eat as an appetizer!

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge
