Description
These easy cinnamon apples are healthy and perfect to enjoy for dessert or a snack.
Ingredients

- 4 apples
- 1 tablespoon butter or coconut oil
- 2 tablespoons coconut sugar (can sub brown sugar)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Peel and slice the apples. You can cut the apples into slices, or if you prefer smaller pieces you can cut them into cubes.
- Heat the butter in a large skillet on medium-high heat. Add the sliced apples, coconut sugar and cinnamon and mix everything together for 2 minutes.
- Reduce the heat to medium-low, cover and let the apples cook for 10 minutes until tender.
- Remove from heat and enjoy.
Notes
Try adding a pinch of salt if you enjoy a sweet and salty taste!
Store leftovers in the fridge in a container for up to 3 days.
