This Air Fryer Apple Crisp is the perfect answer when you want a single serve healthy dessert ready in under 20 minutes.
Ingredients
For the Apple Filling:
- 1 apple, cored and diced
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
For the Oat Topping:
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons rolled oats
- 1 tablespoon oat flour
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar or coconut sugar
Instructions
- Toss the diced apple with the cinnamon and lemon juice in a mixing bowl then transfer to an oven-safe ramekin.
- Place the ramekin in the air fryer and cook at 300°F for 8 minutes.
- While the apples cook, stir together the melted butter, cinnamon, rolled oats, oat flour, and brown sugar until combined and crumbly.
- Open the air fryer, sprinkle the oat topping evenly over the ramekins, then continue to cook for another 4-5 minutes, or until the top is golden and crisp.
- Let cool for a couple of minutes before serving and be careful handing the ramekin, it will be hot!
Notes
- This recipe doubles, triples, or quadruples easily, just check how many ramekins fit in your air fryer basket at once, you may need to cook in batches.
- Swap apples for any fruit you love.
- Air fryers vary by model, start checking the topping around the 4 minute mark of the second stage so it doesn’t overcook.
