Description

The ultimate fudgy brownie recipe!ย

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup butter melted and cooled (or coconut oil)
  • 225 grams 70% dark chocolate, melted
  • 3/4 cup organic cane sugar (use coconut sugar for Paleo)ย
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 4 tbsp cornstarch or tapioca starch
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line an 8×8 inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the butter, dark chocolate and sugar together in a bowl until well combined. Let cool completely before adding the eggs.
  3. Whisk in the eggs until smooth and combined, but don’t overmix.
  4. Mix in the cocoa powder, cornstarch, salt and vanilla extract.
  5. Gently fold in the chopped hazelnuts
  6. Pour into the pan and bake for 26-30 minutes. Let cool completely before serving

Notes

These brownies are MEGA fudgy, so clean your knife between each cut! Add any types of nuts you love!

Make sure to let your chocolate cool before adding the eggs, otherwise, the eggs will cook from the hot chocolate!ย

You can make these brownies paleo by using coconut sugar.

Use parchment paper to line your baking pan to make it easier to get the brownies out.
