Description

This Greek Yogurt Chocolate Mousse is thick and creamy and has 15 grams of protein per serving. It’s great as a dessert but also can be enjoyed for a snack or even breakfast! 


Ingredients

Units
  • 2 cups plain Greek yogurt (2% or full fat)
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 4 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • pinch of sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add the Greek yogurt, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract and sea salt to a large bowl.
  2. Whisk together with a hand mixer or a whisk until the mixture is smooth and fully combined.
  3. Transfer to serving bowls, jars or an airtight container. Cover then refrigerate for at least 1 hour. 

Notes

Use thick 2% up to full fat Greek yogurt for the best texture. 
Adjust the sweetness to taste. 
Add toppings like chocolate, berries or granola
Store in the fridge up to 4 days.
