Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 12 tsp matcha powder (depending on how strong you like it)
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1/2 tbsp honey (can add more if you like it sweeter)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 cup milk (I use oat milk)

Instructions

  1. add the matcha powder and water to a small bowl or cup and whisk together to combine. Add the honey and vanilla extract and whisk again.
  2. Optionally add the milk to a frother and froth. (If you don’t have a frother just add the milk to the glass directly.)
  3. Fill a tall glass with ice and add the milk, leaving the froth aside. Then pour the matcha mixture into the glass and mix to combine and top with the remaining milk froth.
