Description

This Kimchi Fried Rice will be your new favourite! It’s tangy, sweet and savoury and perfect for an easy weeknight dinner!ย 


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups Jasmin rice, cooked (about 1 cup not cooked)ย 
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 cup kimchi
  • 1/2 cup kimchi juice
  • 1 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 12 tsp sriracha
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet on medium-high heat then add the garlic. Let cook for just a minute until fragrant, then add the kimchi and continue to cook for antoher 2 minutes.
  2. Next add the rice, kimchi juice, sweet chili sauce, sesame oil, sriracah and soy sauce and mix everything together.ย 
  3. Let the rice sit in the pan on medium-high heat for 1-2 minutes to brown and get crispy on the bottom, then remove from heat.
  4. Optionally fry up a couple of eggs to serve on top of the rice.ย
