Description

This Lemon Tahini Dressing is perfect to enjoy on salads, bowls or however you like!


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1/3 cup tahini
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp finely chopped garlic
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 3 tbsp cold water

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients to a medium-sized mixing bowl and continue mixing until smooth and creamy (it might take a couple of minutes to come together.)ย 
  2. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.ย 

Notes

    Authentic tahini should be pretty runny. This is what you want. Don’t buy a “sesame butter” that is a thick spread, this will be much harder to mix into a creamy dressing.

    If you find tahini to be a bit bitter, adding acid (like lemon juice) to it will help remove any bitterness. That’s why this dressing shouldn’t have any bitter taste.

    Store this dressing in a jar in the fridge for up to 10 days.
