Description
This matcha latte is made with a creamy homemade macadamia nut milk, yum!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 cup raw unsalted macadamia nuts, soaked overnight then drainedย
- 2 Medjool dates (pits removed)
- pinch of salt
- 2 tspย vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups of water
- 3 tspย ceremonial grade matcha
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
Instructions
- Blend the macadamia nuts, medjool dates, salt, vanilla and water together in a high-speed blender for 60 seconds.ย
- Pour the macadamia milk through a nut milk bag to strain out any of the nut pulp.ย
- Place the macadamia milk in a pot over the stove and let come to a slight boil.ย
- Remove from heat and whisk in the matcha and maple syrup.ย
- Divide between two cups and enjoy.ย

I like to use a traditional bamboo whisk to whisk my matchaย
