Hi there, I’m Jess!

I’m Jessica Hoffman, the creator of Choosing Chia, a leading destination for healthy, plant-forward recipes. As a food blogger, photographer, and recipe developer, I’ve spent years creating nourishing meals that actually taste amazing—because healthy eating should never feel like a sacrifice.

I’m here to help you discover how to eat delicious, wholesome meals without the stress. Whether you’re looking for quick and simple recipes, meal prep inspiration, or a healthier take on your favorite comfort foods, you’ll find it all on Choosing Chia!

My mission is to provide simple easy to make recipes that are healthy and actually taste good.

Choosing Chia was born after a transformative trip to India, where I immersed myself in the study of yoga and Ayurveda—a holistic wellness practice that emphasizes balance through diet, movement, and mindfulness. I earned my Yoga Teacher Training Certification (RYT 200 Certificate) with the Yoga Alliance at Ajarya Yoga Academy, deepening my expertise in yoga and wellness.

This experience not only shaped my approach to mindful living but also ignited my passion for creating nourishing, plant-forward recipes that support a healthy lifestyle.

I serve people who are looking to eat healthier, incorporate more natural and plant-based foods in their diet, but who also want to take the stress out of healthy eating.

With over 1 million followers across my social platforms, I’ve built a thriving online space where people can find trusted, easy-to-follow recipes that make healthy eating effortless and enjoyable.

When I’m not busy blogging, you can catch me… Working on my yoga practice, Spending time up north with family, going out for brunch, petting my dog, and eating all the croissants.
