This raspberry banana smoothie bowl with eden rawnola is one of my favourite go-to breakfasts! Loaded with fresh fruits & super seeds, it’ll keep you energized all morning long!

If you follow me on Instagram then you know I kind of have a thing for smoothie bowls. In fact, you probably know I especially have a thing for PINK smoothie bowls. Because eating pink food for breakfast makes for a good day, right?

I’m not sure why it’s taken me this long to share a pink smoothie bowl recipe on the blog. I think I’ve gotten so used to whipping up a bowl in a matter of minutes that I never even considered it to be a “recipe” to share. Which by the way is one of the best things about this recipe, it only takes minutes to make! And I’ll let you in on another little secret: you don’t even need to have fresh fruit in your fridge to make this. Yup, that’s right! I blend this bowl up with frozen berries and bananas stocked up in the freezer. (Although your totally welcome to use fresh fruit if you want to!)

I definitely recommend buying bananas, peeling them, and freezing them in ziplock bags. Same goes for raspberries. (Trust me, you’ll thank me later when you’re too busy to do groceries and remember you have a bunch of fruit ready to go in the freezer.)

One thing I cannot skip on my smoothie bowls is granola. I often like to make a big batch of my own granola, but sometimes….well, even I can get lazy to cook. So when I was given the opportunity to try Eden back to basics to review, the lazy girl inside me jumped for joy! Now, this is what I refer to as a rawnola: a granola that is completely raw. (And bonus: it’s totally grain-free!) Eden back to basics is typically used as a daily detox. The great thing about it is it’s REAL raw food. No “detox” pills or skinny teas here! You can actually detox your body through eating healthy and wholesome natural foods from the earth! That’s right, you don’t need to starve yourself sipping on only kale & wheatgrass juices all day.

I enjoyed trying out Eden as an additional to my healthy food I eat in a day. (smoothie bowls, salads, and lots of other plant-based goodies.) And guys, let me tell you, it’s DELICIOUS. I can’t believe I’ve never made rawnola before! It’s loaded with ground walnuts, flax seeds, goji berries, and other detoxifying ingredients. Not to mention the stuff keeps you feeling full & satisfied. If your interested to learn more about it you can find out more here! Ok, enjoy the recipe!
