Inner glow mango smoothie
This inner glow mango smoothie will have you glowing from the inside out! It’s packed with mango, pineapple, ginger and superfoods like turmeric and baobab to leave you feeling your best!
Since the weather is finally starting to warm up it’s to start thinking about smoothies again. With summer well on its way, I’ve been enjoying tons of smoothies for my morning breakfast.
I made this smoothie about a week ago since I’m currently travelling in California this week. Since I can’t make smoothies on my own while I’m travelling here I actually picked up some fresh juice & drinks from whole foods instead. Though when I’m home I much rather make smoothies from scratch.
This inner glow mango smoothie is one of my new favourites for a few reasons.
First of all, it’s made with mango, one of my favourite fruits. It has some great tropical flavour and is packed with some of my favourite superfoods. I’ve been loving adding turmeric powder to my smoothies lately, which is great to help with inflammation.
Another great superfood I’ve been adding to my smoothies is baobab powder. It’s a dried fruit powder with a slight citrus taste that is high in vitamin C, potassium and fibre. (If you haven’t tried it in smoothies before I highly recommend you do!)
My other “go-to” ingredients for smoothies include chia seeds and hemp seeds. Chia seeds are packed with protein and omegas, and hemp seeds add some protein to smoothies and blend up nicely. Just make sure not to add too many chia seeds to your smoothie, otherwise it will become too thick!

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup mango (frozen)
- 1/2 cup pineapple
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp baobab powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
Instructions
- Blend all the ingredients in a blender until smooth
- Serve in a glass

Weird to say, but I prefer mangoes frozen over fresh! That’s why mango smoothies are PERFECT for me 😀 I love adding spinach, pineapple, and maca powder to my mango smoothies!
That’s so interesting! I do love mango sorbet it has such a creamy texture. Adding spinach to smoothies is one of my favourites too!
