What Are Overnight Oats?
Overnight oats are a simple delicious breakfast where oats are soaked overnight in milk or yogurt, along with various mix-ins, resulting in a creamy and delicious cold oatmeal. The texture is soft and slightly chewy, and for this recipe tastes like strawberries! You can also easily make this recipe gluten-free or vegan-friendly. Just make sure to use gluten-free certified oats and dairy-free alternatives for the Greek yogurt.
Overnight oats are the perfect make-ahead breakfast that is high in fibre, and protein and can be enjoyed at home or easily taken on the go in your favourite container or jar. Some of my other favourite overnight oat flavours are Coffee Overnight Oats, Chocolate Overnight Oats and Matcha Overnight Oats.

Tips For Making Strawberry Overnight Oats
- Use sweet strawberries: The better tasting your strawberries are the better tasting the overnight oats will be! Bland watery strawberries won’t give the oats much flavour.
- Blend the strawberry milk well: For a smooth consistency, make sure to blend the milk well.
- Sweeten to taste: Feel free to adjust the amount of sweetener used in the recipe to your personal taste.
- Adjust consistency in the morning: If you prefer a thinner texture, feel free to add an extra splash of almond milk to the oats in the morning.
- Prep in jars to go: If you want to bring these oats to-go, prep them directly in small jars for portioned out breakfasts ready to go in the morning.
